International youth day is celebrated every year on 12th August, and India is young people's country.

So we should talk about what are the benefits of having so many young people in the country

And what are the challenges of that

and what are the solutions to those challenges?

So we will talk about that today

so, first of all, let's talk about the benefits

it is said that India has the highest workforce

workforce means the people who work for the country and contribute to the country's economy

now this is because India is a country of young people

and those young people contribute to the GDP

if you ask countries like China and Japan

Then you will get to know

that what are the benefits of having a big workforce

China adopted a one-child policy to control its population

Is now giving permission for 2 and even 3 Childs

because their workforce is getting down

and they are worried that there will be more number of dependents in their country

dependents mean old people

Japan has the same problem

because they too have a large number of old people who are dependent on other people

and all the countries want to have a large workforce

which is large in India

the country which has a large workforce is even more productive

If they are properly utilized and sent to work

more productive the nation more will be the GDP

then the more population becomes a benefit instead of a burden

and this one of the benefits of having a larger number of young people

the second big benefit is that because Youth is newer to the world

so they have understood the changing environment very keenly

that's why more innovative ideas come from younger people

and when you have so many young people, then your country is can be the perfect land for new ideas and innovations

and this is the 2nd biggest benefit of having a big number of young people in India

now having youth is good

but the proper utilization of youth is more important than that

and youth can be utilized if they are employable

but Unemployable youth is more in India

and that's because of the fundamental flaws in our education system

that our youth is Unemployable

and those flaws are that you are not made skill-oriented by the education system

You are not taught the things which will help you in the future

but you are made to mug up everything and write everything in the exam and get to the next class

which is an obstruction in utilizing the full capacity of our youth

The second is social media addiction

addictions like alcohol etc are bad, but social media addiction is even worse 328

but most of our young people are watching reels, shorts and wasting time

which is very dangerous

see, it is ok if you are watching something which to enhance your mind

but if you waste most of your time on such bad things

You can see the stats to know how much time the average Indian youth is wasting on social media

that is very bad and is eating up the potential of youth slowly

the third problem is with our society

see when all the young people run towards jobs,

then there will be fewer jobs

so the number of jobs giving people should increase

but our society doesn't let them grow

our society gives high value to jobs, but not to job giving businesses

and the entrepreneur mindset is not that much celebrated in our society

businesses are seen as risks and are considered small

and there is no value for you if the business is not that big

if you start a small business and give jobs to 10 people then oo you will have less value than someone who is seeking a job

this is a big mindset problem that is not good for India,

the fourth problem is unemployment

we were breaking big records in unemployment even before the pandemic

which means the situation was so bad

and this has now become even worse after the pandemic

the problem is that promises are made that this many jobs will be generated

but the whole process is very long and is not managed properly so that people have to wait for so long

and that too for people who are selected

But so many people are not selected because the vacancies were so less when the applications were so high

this is one of the major problems of our country

all the governments made so many promises for resolving this issue

the current government did too, but no improvement has been made on the ground level in 6 years

we should change it and make it a skill-based system

by which people should learn skills which can help them get a job

and developed their entrepreneur mindset so that they can open their own businesses

The second change should come from the society

and there is nothing wrong with that, those people are also working hard for their families

but all the people who open a business, small or big, have taken a risk

and he has created so many new job opportunities from that risk 653

but society does the opposite of this,

they say that this is a small business, and we should not go there

because if everybody is seeking a job, and there are no job providers

Then how will they get jobs

and the third solution is related to social media

If you want to spend time on social media, then watch content that improves your mind

and which gives you benefit in the long run

a small amount of entertainment is good, but if you spend too much time on entertainment, then that is not good

and hence it is very dangerous

and if people move from a consumer to a creator on social media

then it can be very beneficial for them, as it can open new doors for opportunities

That it can make a good amount of dominance on the world

because our youth doesn't lack in any potential
