"Initially, I sang without any hope of finances, but I was rewarded," she says. "I am lucky to have had the opportunity to sing many hymns later."

She is happy that the hymn songs have started getting good views on YouTube recently. However, she says it is sad that the numbers are so low.

"It's sad that barely a dozen hymns a year aren't made public," she says.

Singer Reshma says that although he did not look at professionalism in the hymns, the hymns brought by hard work have become commercially successful. He said that the hymns brought through study and hard work will win the hearts of the listeners and spectators. However, he is concerned about the recent trend of singing hymns without studying.

Singer Narayan Rayamajhi says that even though hymn singing became a business in India, that situation could not be created in Nepal. He said those hymn songs came in small numbers due to a lack of professionalism. 'Before, the radio used to record. Bringing psalms now costs millions. Because it is not as professional as other songs, there are fewer people who are active in singing hymns, 'he said.

Rayamajhi says that there are plenty of people singing hymns even though they are few in number. 'There are plenty of people who want to sing a psalm. But, there are very few who give continuity ', he said. He says that artists should take the lead in singing devotional songs despite the risk of investment.
